Publications on RoboCup
RoboCup, the "Robot Soccer World Cup", is an annual international robotics and AI competition. Its official grand challenge states that
"By the middle of the 21st century, a team of fully autonomous humanoid robot soccer players shall win a soccer game, complying with the official rules of FIFA, against the winner of the most recent World Cup." The publications listed below resulted from our effort in RoboCup 2D Simulation League which started in 1998 with team Cyberoos, and culminated in winning the World Championship in 2016, with team Gliders2016. Base code of Gliders2d has been released in 2018 (version 1) and 2019 (version 2). In 2019 we returned for one more competition, held in Sydney, winning the World Championship again, with team Fractals2019. |
